Contact & FAQ
Talk to a human.
Three shops, three phone lines, real people on the other end. For anything about a specific appointment, call the shop it’s booked at — that’s where your barber is.

Barbers: come cut with us
We train our own and we hire the hungry — students, juniors and licensed barbers. Message the shop on Instagram or drop into any location and ask for the manager.
Everything people ask.
Booking
How do I book an appointment?
Online, through our booking system (Squire): pick your shop, pick your barber — or take the first available chair — pick your service and time. It takes about a minute. You can also call any of the three shops and we'll book you in.
Can I manage or cancel an existing booking?
Yes. Use the confirmation email or text from Squire to reschedule or cancel, or sign in at getsquire.com. If you're stuck, call the shop — a human will fix it.
Do you take walk-ins?
When there's an open chair, absolutely. But booked appointments come first, and evenings and Saturdays fill up fast — booking online is the only way to guarantee a time.
First visit
How should I describe the cut I want?
Bring a photo — honestly, it's the best tool there is. Failing that, tell your barber what bugs you about your hair right now and what you want people to notice. The consultation at the start of every cut exists exactly for this.
What happens during the consultation?
Before the clippers come out, your barber will ask what you're after, look at how your hair grows, and agree the plan with you — length, fade height, neckline, the lot. Nothing is a surprise.
When should I arrive?
Five minutes early is perfect. Grab a coffee, say hi to the dog if she's in, and you'll be in the chair on time.
Should I wash my hair before coming in?
Come as you are — clean, dry hair shows its natural behaviour best, but it's not a rule. If you want the full reset, book the Cut & Wash and we'll handle it.
Kids & family
Do you cut kids' hair?
Proudly. The Prince's Cut is for ages 12 and under, and several of our barbers are genuinely great with kids — first haircuts included. Book a quieter weekday slot if your kid is nervous.
Payments & policies
What if I'm running late?
Call the shop as soon as you know. We'll hold your chair when we can, but past a certain point your barber has to look after the next booking — you may be asked to rebook.
What's the cancellation policy?
Life happens — just give us as much notice as you can, ideally 24 hours, so the chair can go to someone else. Repeated no-shows may be asked to prepay through the booking system.
What payment methods do you accept?
Debit, credit and cash at all three shops. You can also pay and tip through the booking app when your cut is done.
The shops
Which shop should I choose?
Whichever is yours. Fergus is the original on St Andrew St; Downey Rd covers Guelph's south end with easy plaza parking; Victoria Rd is the big nine-chair room on the east side. Same standard in all three.
Do you sell grooming products?
Yes — the shelves you see in the shops are stocked with the products our barbers actually use, and your barber will tell you honestly what your hair needs (and what it doesn't).
Are the shops wheelchair accessible?
Downey Rd and Victoria Rd have step-free plaza entrances; Fergus is street-level from the sidewalk. Call ahead and we'll make sure whatever you need is ready.
